| The whirligig beetles are a family
(Gyrinidae) of water beetles that normally live on the surface of
the water. They get their common name from their habit of swimming
rapidly in circles when alarmed, and are also notable for their
divided eyes which can see both above and below
water. |
This one is not out in the open. Listen carefully while
searching as we heard an owl off in the distance.

Saw some people pointing----GATOR,GATOR, OVER THERE! It cool to watch people who never really see gators. They were so excited of what they found. I was happy for them, but this is my 1000th time seeing them. I just gave them this face--------WOW! COOL! On to the next cache. Thanks -footTRAX

Did some kayaking with Bumper McV to get to the caches near the river. I had my dog, Jake along for the ride. He only fell in three times. That's why his floatation has a leash attached.
