A rainbow is a multicolored arc of light in the sky caused by
refraction of the rays
of the sun by droplets of moisture in the Earth's
atmosphere.
A rainbow spans a continuous spectrum of colors, ranging from
red to
violet.
You may or may not have learned about
"R
O Y G. B I
V",
which is a mnemonic for remembering the following sequence of
colors:
Red, Orange,
Yellow,
Green, Blue,
Indigo, and
Violet.
This multi-colored series of caches includes six preliminary
ammo box caches,
each featuring its own color (with
indigo and
violet grouped under the name
Purple, for simplicity),
along with one final ammo box cache.
This is the third cache in the series, featuring the color
yellow.
All swag items in the cache are yellow
in color. Lets try to keep the color scheme intact!
Inside the front cover of the logbook, you will note a
letter/number combination.
This combination will be needed in order to find the final
cache.
The location of the final is here:
N 27 01.ABC
W 080 07.DEF
Have fun, be safe, and remember to always keep an eye out for
rainbows!!
Note: This cache was placed in Jonathan Dickinson
State Park as part of Cacheapalooza 3,<

If it's yellow, let it mellow? Naaaaah, we couldn't let this one mellow out any longer, it had to be found! 3rd in the Spectrum series for us today, but we'll have to come back another time to polish off this rainbow. Wonder if we'll find a pot of gold at the end? Or maybe the Lucky Charms leprechaun? TFTC !

To reach Yellow, you can cross the tracks from the east at N 27 00.877, W 080 06.855 but keep in mind you are risking a ticket. You can enter the west side at N 26 00.870, W 080 06.872. Yellow is a bit North. Once you have found Yellow, go to the SW a bit and up the slope along the trail we cut. Head North along here until you find Green, Blue and last Purple. Technically, you should come back down to Yellow and cross or continue up to the Florida Trail North crossing but we were unable to cut anymore today. We hope to be able to cut further North at some point. We also will try to connect the Red to Yellow but that will require Park help. Also we would like to have another RR crossing.

Weird! I was thinking yellow when I was close to the cache and I smelt an orange odor in the air. I looked around but didn’t see any orange trees. I think I was just thirsty and didn’t want water. Thanks -footTRAX
